A Monthly Treat from Local Indian Restaurant

Tajdar Indian Restaurant in Findon have been providing a lovely monthly treat to residents and Staff at WCHP’s Short Term Assessment Hostel and Stepping Stones Project in the form of a delicious Curry cooked and prepared by their Chefs and delivered to the door.

The team at Tajdar approached WCHP in the summer of 2017 about how they could support us, and after consultation with the staff and residents offered to provide a monthly dinner for all to enjoy.

WCHP’s Short Term Assessment Hostel provides short-term accommodation alongside one-to-one support from staff, who are available day and night. The Charity’s Stepping Stones Project places more of an emphasis on involvement within the community, here the clients are given more responsibility with a lower level of support.

Tajdar provide a meal for the 30 residents housed in the two projects, and even include some extra for the staff working too!

The team at WCHP’s Short Term Assessment Hostel say ““The curries are always really fresh and the team from Tajdar are really friendly and appreciative of what we do here when they deliver the curries.”
