Registration For Littlehampton Sleepout 2018

Annual Sleepout on Saturday 24th February 2018.

Turning Tides would like to take this opportunity to invite you to join us in our Annual Sponsored Sleepout to be held in the playground at Riverbeach Primary School in Littlehampton.

We will be serving up hearty soups and hot drinks from 7:30pm, which will give you a chance to meet the other people taking part. If you would like to join in with this please tick the appropriate box on the Registration Form; this does not commit you to anything but it gives us an idea of numbers. If you would prefer to come along later, please arrive from 9.00pm. You will need warm clothes (a hat is essential!) and bedding as well as material to build a shelter.

Anyone under 18 will need to provide signed consent from a parent or guardian, please fill in the registration form here. Anyone under 16 years old must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or carer and we cannot allow anyone under 14 to take part. apologies if this is a disappointment to anyone.

At this time of year a fundraising event like this is particularly poignant and we hope you are able to join us. To register your interest please return the enclosed Registration Form to the address above. We will send you a Sponsor Form and any further information. You can download additional copies of our Registration Form and Event Poster at www.Turning Tides.org.uk. Sponsorship, donations and fundraising can be arranged via BT MyDonate at https://mydonate.bt.com/events/Turning Tideslittlehampton2018.

Previous participants feel that, while sleeping out for a night in these circumstances can be fun, it also gives us an idea of what it must be like for those who have no choice but to do this every night of the year.

During the night the kitchen is open all evening and there is access to toilets. The playground provides a secure environment for us to experience what it is like to have to sleep outside.
